While assessing encroachments in the Thakurganj area, Maulana Kalbe Jawad's vehicle was reportedly pelted with stones by assailants. Following the attack, he staged a protest with his supporters, although they later ended the demonstration. The police confirmed the protest and stated that a First Information Report (FIR) would be filed based on the complaints received.

According to supporters of Maulana Jawad, he was inspecting the site when the encroachers attacked him with stones. Fortunately, he was unharmed, but his vehicle sustained damage. The Station House Officer (SHO) Omveer Singh Chauhan mentioned that the incident arose from a dispute between two parties and confirmed the filing of a complaint.

Protest Ends Late at Night

Police sources indicated that the protest concluded late at night. Sarim Mehndi, a local resident and caretaker of Karbala, filed a complaint alleging illegal construction on the land, which prompted Maulana Jawad's visit. He criticized the police for negligence and demanded immediate action against the assailants who damaged the vehicle.

Maulana Jawad has now filed a new complaint at the Thakurganj police station and warned that if no action is taken, they would escalate their protests. He asserted that there is evidence against the accused, and the police must act.
